Calibration certificates for analog EtherCAT Terminals

If Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminals are part of a measuring chain and are therefore subject to particular requirements regarding repeatability and traceability of the measurement results, a calibration certificate can be issued to the user for certain terminal types for quality assurance purposes. The certificate is issued for a specific terminal. As proof of the exact measurement error of this terminal, it enables a more accurate definition of the entire measuring chain and reduces the overall measurement uncertainty. This is possible because it allows the potential influence of a specific Beckhoff Terminal on the uncertainty estimation of an entire measurement process to be limited. A calibration certificate is assigned to an individual terminal and can be downloaded on the basis of the unique identification number here as a PDF. It documents the actual, momentary measurement error of the terminal at the time of calibration and includes important data on the environmental conditions and the testing device employed, the so-called normal.
